Alejandra - April 27, 2008

A few weeks ago, I headed to the beautiful Laguna Beach to do some pics. Alejandra is a co-worker of mine, and she wanted some fun pics of her and her son, Anthony. Her two brothers also came so we could take some family photos for her mom for Mother's Day. I honestly could have stayed at the beach all day, but there was a WWE pay-per-view on so I had to head home after I took these shots ;)

Too hot to shoot!

Today I had a really fun shoot with Shelly. She found me through Jessica, who is a hairstylist I recently worked with. Gotta love referrals! She was absolutely nice as can be - especially when I nearly passed out! It was so hot today and I really didn't eat or drink anything the whole day - big mistake when you're doing a photoshoot! She had just changed into a different outfit, and I got about 12 frames in when I started feeling dizzy, nauseous, and tight in the chest. It felt like I had just run a marathon and my heart was going to fall out of my chest. It was kind of scary because that has NEVER happened to me before, and it was so embarrassing to have happen on a photoshoot! Shelly was super nice though and really helped me through it. Luckily we had already shot a ton of pics, so we called it a day. She was even nice enough to make sure I got to a gas station safely so I could get some water! I have the best photo clients!

Sin City Playboys - April 19, 2008

You probably couldn't tell by looking at my blog here, but I started out shooting rock and roll music photography. Anyway, when I got the opportunity to photograph some live music, I totally jumped at the chance. Sin City Playboys are an awesome band, and I was lucky enough to see them perform at a private party and I took some photos while I was there!
